P&G launches 4X Cleaner Campaign to boost oral care habits in U.S.
February 28, 2011

As everyone in New York already knows, Philadelphia has the worst sports fans in the U.S. Now, it turns out, Philadelphians have the worst oral care habits too. According to a recent article in Men’s Health, folks in Philadelphia, along with St. Louis, have the worst teeth in America. But now, Procter & Gamble (P&G) is hoping to help consumers throughout the U.S. improve their oral hygiene habits with the launch of its 4X Cleaner Crusade. The goal is to educate people on how they can achieve better oral health, including four times better plaque reduction with regular use of the Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health system of products compared to a regular manual toothbrush and regular anti-cavity toothpaste. CREST® AND ORAL-B® START A CRUSADE TO EDUCATE AMERICANS ABOUT BETTER ORAL HEALTH P&G is challenging Americans to improve their oral care in 2011 by talking to their dentist, using the full line-up of Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health products and eating a balanced diet as nutrition plays an important role in the health and your mouth. As part of their journey, Crest and Oral-B will visit St. Louis, Philadelphia and other cities. The events will allow people to see the plaque that is left behind on their teeth through a digital plaque imaging system. A dental professional will also be available to answer questions and offer free dental advice to participants. Now, if only Crest and Oral-B could clean up the mouths of those Phillies and Eagles fans! For more information, follow Crest on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Crest and Twitter at twitter.com/crest, or visit www.crestprohealth.com.
